Rush in Feudal with MAA + Ram. If it goes to Castle, go springald, crossbow, MAA add mangonels if hes going to mass Arbaletrier instead. You should be able to have advantage with Regnitz relics. If you dont get relics, well you’re probably going to lose at Castle. If somehow both of you are in Imperial, then you go culverin + handcannons. Again, assuming you have relics in Regnitz, you’re going to be outproducing him in handcannons and he can only make culverin from landmark, while you can mass produce culverin.

And to be honest, based on your behavior, it’s positive :D. The thread author also found a lot of issues, that’s what the thread is about.

There’s a lot of quality of life improvements that are needed for me to come back after the 150+ hours I’ve put in let alone for me to leave Age 2 for the competitive scene. Played closed and open beta and the amount of suggestions the community provided to fix these things and actually improve the game were uncountable. Sadly there hasn’t been any communication with the community since release (as far as i’m aware - please correct me if I’m wrong).
The hit boxes become a chore, unit pathing is dire especially when you want to avoid spears with horseman/mangudai, auto ballistics hurts my soul (maybe its an Age 2 thing - fair enough against infantry but cavalry? No) and my god the UI needs sorted/scaled. One thing that really bugs me is that there is no flags or way markers when queuing unit movement? Like why? I think from a die hard age/rts fan the game wont be “fixed” or up to the same standards as Age 2/SC2 for another year at least. Which is sad because my god the campaigns are amazing and have been done really well.
For context I have played age games my whole life and have been “try harding” age 2 around 1200 elo. I also really want this game to kick ■■■ and bring RTS back.
