Greek Villagers now prioritize wood and gold equally upon completing a drop site, rather than prioritizing gold over wood.

I’m still reading and observing the changes, but this one confused me, because the Greek villagers already behave this way. And this causes a lot of problems, as they prioritize wood even when we place the storage next to the gold mine.

Edit 1: This makes me so angry with devs stupidity.

I agree! Super excited for the patch, and very happy to see that devs are continuously looking at balance AND also QoL changes. :slight_smile:

Cool thing they added unkillable pandas to the game. :smiley:

Some couple nerfs were really necessary.

But damn this buff to Reiha makes me SO excited! I like they try out some more drastic ideas and I support that so much! Really look forward to play Reiha now especially Gaia Reiha. :slight_smile:

I experienced this issue myself that villagers prio close wood over close gold.

I wouldn’t be harsh and call them bad things. Not fair. They still do overall an amazing job and listen to many things.

Also I just found out that a dev said it’s hard to tweak/make changes to fimbul winter and make a difference between single player or multiplayer. That’s why they currently have to choice to make it either okay in single player and OP in multiplayer or okay in multiplayer and very weak in single player.

I like the transparency and that they really try to listen to every feedback from design to balance. If it’s hard to program differently it’s totally understandable I just hope they will find a way to make fimbul winter more enjoyable for single and multiplayer.

Developer Note: We are aware of fimbulwinter having a much larger impact in games with more players, and are looking into addressing this.

Here we have a start. I think they can balance the fimbulwinter in team games only by decreasing the number of settlements where wolves do appear. Abandoned town centers no, please…

In general;

  • Human unit nerf in mid to late game from unit line upgrade nerf
  • Hero nerf in mid to late game to match with human unit
  • Myth units mostly untouched, except some specific.

In total, this patch seem to push into myth unit more. Not sure if Myth units already good before or not.
