For number one, my request is obvious. Console replays are pretty poorly designed when something ‘closer’ to caster mode is available in games like AoM for console players. Even it is a really basic version of caster mode, a better UI would be greatly appreciated. For number two, again comparing AoM, having the ability to select a few civs for random/shuffle, rather than random all would be amazing to have. There are an are Civs I like to cycle through, but can’t play random because there are also some I don’t enjoy/don’t really mess with much. Being able to choose x amount to be included in random would be fantastic. AoM offers this and it’s a wonderful feature. Sidebar: On console, at least on ps5, the replay ‘extra stats’ (when you hold down triangle and cycle through different options with L1) has some errors/doesn’t align properly. I think it’s military statistics that pulls up religious stats or something like that. ---

Bumping this as we approach the new DLC. Two cool new civs coming out that are hard to pick between; custom random shuffle would let us select both and have one picked for us randomly without pulling in other civs. ---

Great idea! EDIT: I know this isn’t true for all players, but AoE4 civs are so unique (and I’m such a bad player) that I just can’t play a new civ with any sort of effectiveness before I’ve practiced a TON against AIs. Having custom civ selection would let us bad players choose between the ones that we can do. Also, custom was added in an update to AoE2DE about a year ago, though I could be very wrong on the “year ago” bit, which proves that it doesn’t have to be included at release to work – an update can add this to AoE4. ---

Oh that’s awesome that you have it in 2. I played random a bit this season in IV because it’s all I have but there are for sure some civs I’d rather exclude lol
