Now you can play with 9 vils by using QS maps. I tested QS Arabia a few times.
Let’s gather our reviews.

Quick Start set

  • 6 vils & 1 sheep/cow under TC
  • 3 vils near a struggle tree
  • 2 hauses
  • 5 sheep or 4 cows in total
  • 2 boar. normal number of deers or checkens
  • 16 tiles around TC is already explored (can’t see 2 sheeps &
    far deers)
  • Resources: 200 W, 200 F, 100 G, 200 S

My review

  • You can do fastest drush very easy; build a barrack for instant, make 2 militia and up feudal with about 19 vils. It will be meta.
    (That may be why -30 W & -100 F are added in Warlords 4)
  • You lose half of the scouting in dark age. Scouting is only for searching enemy.
  • Boar hunting is easier than normal play’s one.

It may be good for casual play.

Sounds great. I loved empire War and death match before it. Dark age is too repetitive after having played for decades. This is a good addition.

Is this in ranked?

No. But it might be in the future if ranked players want it.
