With the removal of Autoquee (a wise change in my opinion), we now need more facilities to create military units and it seems to me that the game has already implemented some interesting things in this.
One option that is already available is the possibility to select all military buildings and from there be able to create all possible units from those buildings as shown in the following image:
What is the problem?
The assignment of these units in the grid is dynamic and currently there is no way to reassign it, so to give an example with the attached image, if you add the Atlantean temple to those buildings the units are repositioned in the grid so if the murmillo was created with the “R” key, it will probably be created with a different key when adding the temple, making this not very effective in practice.
How to solve it?
The easiest way in my opinion is to keep the positions fixed for all units when multiple buildings are selected, in any case there are more grid slots available than the number of units per civilization, so regardless of the buildings selected (in multiple selection clearly) these units keep their position for example a murmillo is always created with the “Q” key regardless of the rest of the selected buildings.
Added to that another interesting option is that each row allows the creation of buildings by type example:
Row 1: Barracks and counterbarracks
Row 2: Temple units
Row 3: Palace units (and siege buildings in other civilizations)
An even better feature added to this: Allow the reassignment of this grid as desired by each user (clearly this would be different from the assignment of keys for specific buildings)
