First of all, I would like to thank the developers for coming up with and exciting ways to add new civs for new DLCs in the game. Here’s a personal guideline I think the devs should come close to, when it releasing these new downloadable contents. Some of you might not agree with me when selecting these civs, but for me personally, I want all the medieval powers to be represented as long as it is possible to distinguish from other civs and is fun.
Here is the order I hope they should approach releasing DLCs:
- Africa Focused DLC
- America Focused DLC
(After these two are done, I won’t mind a new Europe DLC or a Civ Split) - Civ Split (Possibly Chinese/Italians/Slavs/Vikings)
- Another Africa focused DLC or Caucasus Focused DLC
- Central Asian or Caucasus DLC
- European DLC
- Free to pick whichever at this point
Below are the civ list I think that should and can be added to the game.
The African Civs that should be added into the game:
Nubians, Songhai, Ghana, Somalis, Songhai, Shona, Swahili, Benin, Kanembu, Kongo
The American Civs that should be added into the game:
Muisca, Chimu, Zapotec, Tarascan, Tlaxcala
Central Asian and Caucasus Civs that can be added into the game:
Sogdians, Khazar, Armenians, Georgians (for some reason adding s to the second one makes it go ###)
Asian Civs that should be added into the game:
Khitans, Jurchens, Tanguts, Tibetans
European Civs that should be added into the game:
Venetians, Vlachs, Swiss, Austrians, Croats, Serbs, Danes, Swedes
European Civs that can be added into the game:
Aragonese, Dutch/Frisians, Brittany
Civ Split/Expansions:
Italians - Venetians, Milanese, Genoese, Florentines, Papacy
Chinese - Chinese, Khitans, Jurchens, Tanguts
Vikings - Vikings, Danes, Swedes
Slavs - Vlachs, Novgorodians, Muscovites
Let me know what you think of this.
