no that doesn’t solve the problem, all the camel units are waaaay tooo expensive

you absolutely can counter a base castle knight with a base castle camel EVEN if they charge at you. The issue is Camel Riders ONLY counter mounted units. So if you’re playing against french that love to make knights then you’re in business!.. Unless he wises up and stop making them and switches over the MAA. Now your camel riders are effectively arrow meatshields.
Royal knights are feudal units. So why I say you can’t counter them, is because by the time you hit castle they have 10 knights deleting your vills and you have spearmen costing 60 food so that you can’t age up or catch the knights. It’s rough putting you on the backside the whole of feudal age.
