Is it a bug ? When I put the game on pause, there is no text to warn you the game is paused contrary to other Age Of Empires games. I know it should be obvious the game is paused since nothing moves, but it feels a bit weird their is nothing showing on the screen that it is actually paused

The one indicator is the pause/play button on the upper right corner.
That’s a little bit… too little
Note that this is an active pause and you can issue unit commands and check various things during this time. That’s why they didn’t put the pause sign in the middle of the screen like in Age of Empires 4

Except… You could do the same in AOE 2 and it still had a message
