Achievement Hoplite Heresy doesn't work

Twice i have tried doing Hoplite Heresy (Win a match as Greeks without training Ranged Soldiers or Cavalry).
I was very careful with not going anything ranged nor mounted. Both times, it failed giving me the achievement.

Side note: It’s an odd name. Why is it heresy? Wouldn’t “Hoplite Hegemony” make more sense?

Not work for me too. :face_exhaling:

I played a 6 on 6 AI (single player) at Titan difficulty.

Used Zeus-Hermes-Apollo-Hera civs, and trained only Hoplite, Hypaspist, Myrmidon, Pegasus, Petrobolos, 4 heroes, Centaur, Manticore and Medusa and the Titan in the skirmish.

Don’t tell me the scout cavalry counted as a cavalry.

I got this wild idea, but I think it might be reference to W40k Horus Heresy

My guess is that siege units do count as other human units and invalidated achievement.

I tried on navy map and build ship and cannot get it, but try with only myth and hero rush get this too.

I got it after winning a game where I PRIMARILY used archers and cavalry. My primary myth unit was the centaur which is both.
