It’s a rather curious design choice that there’s no save option in Historical Battles unlike AOE 2/3. It becomes rather tedious to get higher medals to replay right from the start, when you only need improvement/corrections for the latter part of the game.

Finally managed to finish conqueror mode on all the Historical Battles. But repeating the first 5 mins or so on each of them over and over to activate conqueror mode was not fun. Activating conqueror mode was definitely the tedious part as it’s easy to get it wrong, especially on Agincourt and Towton.
Would have been nice if there was at least a “checkpoint save” once conqueror mode was activated. Maybe something to consider for the future.
