Adding Denmark and Poland revolt to hold us over

With the recent announcement of the Polish and Danish civs also came the news that it would be Late 2024. This is fine—the devs are busy with AoMR so I understand it would take some time even if they are somewhat standard euro civs. But, it is still a fact that’s a while away, so I just wish to suggest maybe adding them as revolts in the meantime—they had planned to add them before even doing a good bit of work on them it seemed. So there wouldn’t be the issue of “we’re too busy to”. And it might be a fun place to test units and such which they could eventually add to the civs. Just some thoughts.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but a lot of civs have too many revolts already.

My idea would be to replace a couple. Like USA for Sweden and such. And Russias revolts are kinda sad tbh.

Absolutely not. Denmark makes zero sense as a revolution and this would add a bunch of headache rebalancing units from what works for a revolution but not a full civ. It would waste effort and constrain them from being flexible as they’re working on the civs.

It would be better to add something like a Greek revolution if you really want content sooner.

If Devs don’t add Norwegian revolution to Swedes at least, then I suspect it is only a personal or dev team preference. Because It fits to reality and Swedes only have 2 revolution option.

Norway would a revolt common to both Danes and Swedes, So they could add that. Considering Swedes only have US and finland as revolts it makes sense.

The other idea is to just be patient. 2024 will end soon.
