A volcano? That’s frickin sweet! Imagine huge armies duking it out on the slopes of Mount Doom an erupting volcano!
…it’s not very safe, I guess, but it’d look sick.
There are 4 trade workshops for the 4 civs. It was a planned feature at one stage.
I actually forgot the Roman icons!

Been there, done that
I never finished making the campaign, but I made a LoTR mod for UPatch that includes Dwarves, Elves, Rangers, and the 4 nations featured in Lord of The Rings.
It’s (more-or-less) balanced for multiplayer.
Best part: There’s a “Middle-Earth” mode for Random Map
Worst part: Artwork is a lacking, most new units are reused or resized sprites.

Not likely, just because of the amount of work it would take.
If someone else wanted to do it, I would totally work with them. But I’ve put in countless lonely hours on that mod, I was sooo ready to move on after the last release.
