also there in aoe2, aoe3 didn’t invent this
True. I thought it was different but it’s basically the same approach just with the difference that TCs get more arrows
Imo tc attackspeed has to be lowered.
At the same time villagers have be ungarrisoned towards the direction where you set the gathering point.
This way, rams could be more easily fought with villagers and units, while enemies would have an easier time diving, due to the fact that the tc would deal a lot less dps.
At the same time, the tc should receive a mild bonus dmg (maybe +1) against heavy units like maa and knights.
Age3 heavy unit diving is too sick right now.
That sounds like a boom and spam xD
You gotta give concrete evidence.
Mostly in late game, not always.
AOE2 nails that part. More vills = more damage + more arrows but can still miss and be dodged effectively.
Skilled player can raid around TC in AOE2, in AOE4 arrows always hitting, so boring.
These are all minor collateral annoyances that are not going to change anything for anyone but for those who already like and play the game. The big problem is its canned civ design that makes the game feel boring, repetitive and timeworn, like the 25years old AoEII -alongside all the dated oddities that were copy pasted straight from AoEII-
And what do you understand? do you have any proof other than saying I don’t know anything?
Lol…
Most of them are aoe3 players, anything thats good with aoe4 will be talked down. If someone posts something postive, its not good. Aoe2 or 3 done it better.
Theres many things aoe4 needs to improve. But all aoe games need alot of improvements to be close to sc2 as the near perfect rts.
Microsoft will never be like a nintendo or old blizzard that make great games. If they did there would be many more people playing all aoe games
It’s difficult, the games are very varied among themselves… AoE 4 has to attract both Aoe 2 and AoE 3 players and other more modern RTS like SC2…
That’s true… I’m an AoE 3 player (who plays all AoE) and I’m optimistic about AoE 4…
AoE 2 & 3 & 4 are all good in own way
The point is that AoE2 received 9 expansions with new SP campaigns, civilisations, units, maps and 2 re-release during 20 years
AoE4 needs new expansions and content
Whether you are more or less right, try to use less hostile language.
