Looks nifty. I understand it will be available for Windows 10.
But who is developing it? If it are those dimwits at skybox labs its going to be a disaster those guys really suck.
Butchered age of mythology, no respect for the game and players, even FE seems to have lost all dignity and self respect as fans if you look at AoM.

Fortunately, every other Age game doesn’t really have a multiplayer endgame. You just get better and better and play harder people. I prefer it that way.
There isn’t any upgrading of our own castles, cities, civilizations, etc. Everything is unlocked from the start.
I am excited since I never played the original AOE…20 years ago…this one looks cool and might even give the new music a chance…

FE often works with skybox, they did that for AoE 2 and AoM as well as all expansions, seems odd if they, or another studio, are not involved.
Skybox is a walking disaster though, highly incompetent on every level poor engineers who dont seem to graps the basics of the discipline they are in, extremely poorly managed and no communication skills.
FE has their part into the disaster called AoM EE and TOTD, so still not very optimistic but if skybox is not involved there is at least a bit of hope + they hired 2 guys of ES that actually know what they are doing, they wont butcher their pride like FE and skybox did with AoM, hopefully.

I do not believe that to be the case. I believe that FE is the outside studio hired by MS to develop AoE2 HD and AoM:Extended Edition. In that capacity, they did the programming for all parts of the release of those old games.

You would be wrong on that, skybox does the programming and are responsible for patching and FE designs and balances both those games as well as the expansions. Skybox fucks up the programming though so hopefully this time they are not involved.
OK. I haven’t paid a ton of attention to the old game re-releases, so I apologize for not knowing the details.

Didn’t know you saw that I flagged it. I thought I was flagging it just for the other moderators to see. We are all new to this software, and I am trying to figure out what is going on with the fact that the auto-censor didn’t censor your f-bomb.
