Age of Empires II 25th Anniversary Giveaway!

My favorite memory of Age of Empires II is when I first bought it and started playing it. It is the coolest game that I have. I have been playing Age of Empires II for years. I loved it when I completed an entire campaign. It was thrilling. I still get excited about playing Age of Empire. I play it all of the time. Thank you for creating such a replayable game. I am a 68-year-old lady who loves playing AGE OF EMPIRERS II !

My favorite memory is of one afternoon of 2002, the first time Iā€™ve discovered the game in a cybercafe of a friend. Playing the campaings and all that, and when we figured out how to play online with it. Good memories.

I have some precious memories with this game, i had a great childhood with my cousing that had the very first version. It was fun when i said him that you could build a lot of walls in one click, he thought that you could only build them one by one xD . i played a lot and i will still play in the future. Wololo

My favourite memory is beating the 3rd Genghis Khan mission by converting all the persian elephants and then steamrolling the whole base

I am 99 y.o and the only thing I want is this game is fixed properly before drop of everypatch.

every bug reports gets fixed within days or max 1 week

In my first Age of Empires 2 experiences, I first encountered war elephants in the Genghis Khan campaign. I was very impressed because I had never seen an elephant unit before. There was a Persian wonder in the scenario and I thought that elephants were trained from this building. I believed that if I made a monk and converted the building, I could train elephants.

My favorite memory is probably the one of first times I successfully reached Goth infantry spam in ranked. For so long, I struggled with Goths, until I learned that, early on, infantry isnā€™t always the option.

This game brings back old memories of when I used to just make a treb, a monk, and a unique unit. I donā€™t know what I was thinking back then to think that it would actually cause any damage, 11. I hope AoE2 lasts over a century.

One of my favorite memories of aoe2 is me and my cousinā€™s first win in multiplayer. It was a last man standing game mode so at the end we turned our blades towards each other it was so dramatic

Age of Empires has been THE defining game of my childhood, having fostered in me a lifelong love for history (and mythology with AOM). I happened to chance upon Age while on a friendā€™s computer, who had a copy of a compilation of demo versions of Microsoft games, and it happened to have the demo for The Conquerors. I was confused at the perspective at first, as I was only 6 at that time and only had played first person shooters before that. But what got me hooked instantly was the narrator of the Aztec campaign (which only had Reign of Blood in the demo) and the music, and before I knew it, I had become a fan for life. Countless titles later, I am still a noob, but crazily in love with the game still. People have come and gone, but this one stayed.
