Hi, can i play with friend? I have got Age of Empires II and he has got Age of Empires II DE. Both on steam.

You mean he has aoe2 HD and you have DE? I don’t think this is possible, both of you should have the same edition.

i have got this Age_of_Empires_II_2013 and he want buy Definitive

Then you should get Definitive too, both of you should have the same edition, HD player can’t play with DE player.

There is no crossplay between HD (2013) and DE.
