Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Hotfix 34223
Today’s hotfix comes on the heels of Update 34055, and introduces a few additional fixes before the holiday break! Enjoy!
The game can start up now , but its only a black screen , and i can hear the music and sounds too
They still did not fix the disconnection problem
@LinenWharf18550 We are aware that the disconnection issue is still happening. Our devs are looking into it.

This hotfix made me lose like 5-6 FPS again which i gained with the big update. This is quite alot because i only have like 30FPS left now 
Mayb this helps u fixing the FPS issue.
Any chances i can undo that hotfix?
Patches still crashes 30 seconds into game consistently after loading save.
In Steam, can usually revert to older version of game, I think(?), and can turn off auto-updates. Google searches for “undo game patch in steam” or similar should show how. I don’t know if it will work in this case, but I’m pretty sure I’ve done it for other games before. When you right-mouse button AoE2:DE in your Steam Library you can get to a Properties screen that shows more detail and options for the game…
