I cannot believe the Winged Hussar, a unit desperately in need of a buff, got nerfed.

Sad day.

My Guys, why Hausa doesn’t have outlaw pop reduction tech/card when every civ in the game has one. What kind of sorcery is this :face_with_head_bandage:
Cost of techs for African civs in university or MM need to be revised, I think. Most cost influence and seem viable only for treaty modes :downcast_face_with_sweat:

Lots of changes since the beta, and a ton of bug fixes!

I still think Conquistadors shouldn’t cost population, but the ‘Infinite Mayans’ card should be removed in exchange; still, it’s good that they were given a limit of 20, they’d be broken otherwise.

Yep but a lot of bugs too

From the update patch:

  • Game Size: Reduced the game size by -10 GB through unit texture optimizations

Can confirm this works, thank goodness.

Also from the update:

  • Church, Commandery, Depot: Now have a unique Maltese building skin.

A new church design for Malta is a very welcome surprise!

Age 2/3 Maltese Church

Age 4/5 Maltese Church

  • Espingolen (IV, Kongeloven): Now enables Espingolen at the Fort.

The church tech for Espingolen is way better now. We still get the 6 Espingolen but we can train them in Forts too.

  • Dojo: Units are now also updated in the Meiji Restoration.

I see some new icons in the Dojo for Meiji units.

Profile Icons - After the update, the row of 5 icons for weekly unlocks do jumped ahead by several rows! I expected at all the old icons to be unlocked and for us to start unlocking only the new weekly profile icons! Please fix this bug!

The devs love the Ottomans and hate the Poles…

Well, it’s similar to a Mediterranean church, but that Maltese cross gives it that special touch…

They should make the Espingolen a unique unit, not a reskin of the Organ Gun…

I like it a lot: It looks a lot like the conventual churches the Order of Malta continues to possess around Europe:

Malteserkirche, Vienna:

San Giovanino dei Cavalieri, Florence

The Maltese Embassy here in my hometown (I passed by it a lot when I was in college, I had to give up on that specific one though) doesn’t look like a church, but it does have the Maltese Cross.

Yes, it looks great…

Well, something is something, I suppose…at least it has the cross…

Tant que nous ne faisons pas une croix dessus

c’est un jeu de mot

Danes have the lowest win rates among all civilizations based on those two sites at under 40%. For everyone who played the Danes do you find them to be so weak? What kind of buffs do they need if any?

Glad to see so many ottoman players thrown off by the nerfs

Of course, it’s a very mid-tier and meh civilization… only 3 UUs (or 4 if you count Espingol) and it doesn’t have any revolutions… it’s more for a civilization focused on naval battlegrounds, treaties, or if I were to run it, maybe a Danish campaign… PS: I find it very strange to see the Incas so high up and the Japanese nowhere to be seen, considering they’re currently have the Meiji Restoration…

Yes, finally the Ottomans are going to stop messing around…

well mejii reformation got nerfed via forcing you to trade off a wonder.

Inkas got quite a bit off buffs for Huaracas and a slew of other units, which was what they needed.
