Firstly, I published a mod a week ago, which was successfully released at the time. If I needed to update something, after rebuilding the mod and launching the game, the ‘Update Mod’ option should appear on the mod publishing page. However, when I recently attempted to upload some updates, the option on the publishing page had changed to ‘Publish Mod’! Yet I could still locate the old version published a week prior in the mod downloads section. At this point, I assumed it was a display glitch within the game. Yet, upon re-publishing the mod, it did not update the existing version from a week prior. Instead, it created an entirely new mod entry in the download section. To make matters worse, after restarting the game and navigating back to the mod publishing section, the option remained “Publish Mod” rather than “Update Mod”! Upon clicking ‘Publish Mod’ once more, the game astonishingly created yet another identical new mod entry in the download section – a truly vexing situation.
Adding to the despair, mods I published months ago are now exhibiting the same issue: where the ‘Update Mod’ option should appear, it inexplicably displays ‘Publish Mod’ instead.
I earnestly hope the development team addresses this matter promptly!
