ISSUE EXPERIENCED
In some campaign maps where the AI is separated from the player by water (Hastings from Historical Battles and Pope and Antipope from Barbarossa), enemy army gets stuck on their landmass trying to move towards the player. This causes some strange unit movements followed by massive fps drops and stuttering. (fps go from 120 to 43). When the stuck units die, the stuttering stops and fps go back to normal.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Play any of the mentioned scenarios
- Stay on your part of the map for 20-40 minutes. Don’t cross towards the enemy landmass.
- At some point the game will start stuttering and fps will drop significantly, this indicates the enemy army is stuck somewhere on the map.
- Use any tool or cheat to see the entire map. Most likely the enemy army is “dancing” on some corner.
EXPECTED RESULT
Stable fps when playing campaign scenarios and enemy units crossing the water by boat or patrolling normally their base.
