AI ignores custom scenario restriction to build Town Centers

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Gamertag: JohnieWhite

Issue:

AI’s will build town centers even when specifically banned from doing so.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Go to players > Disable buildings

  2. Disable Town Center (both options) for computers

  3. Make sure the AI’s have some resources available early on

  4. Click test, watch AI’s ignore the aforementioned restriction (It has to be a computer player, human players are still restricted)

The AI is overpowered lol. On a more serious note, you probably know for a fact it always needs a TC to function properly (certainly at the beginning of a game), but MS somehow forced this setting on every map. For custom maps this is indeed very annoying and game breaking - again, this game is poorly tested and things like this are constantly overlooked.
