AI will often keep entire economy garrisoned inside TC, even if attackers are a little far off

 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
Another AI related report from me - the AI is too cautious when attacked. It will idle its entire eco and garrison every villager into the TC, even if the fight is some distance away. As in this picture:

31/32 villagers are inside the TC, when they could be away and gathering resources to fight the attackers. The attackers (me) are a bit far away and the TC can’t reach me for the most part.

Usually this is how the game ends in 1v1 against AI because the AI has so much idle time that pretty quickly it can no longer offer a challenge.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play against AI
  2. Attack AI near its town and more often than not all its villagers will flee to the TC, and its eco will be crippled for good.

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
Not all villagers are supposed to go inside when you attack the AI base. Some should stay away and gather, and preferably build production buildings elsewhere.

Another AI report from you and another response from me . We’re now tracking this very cautious behavior from the AI .
