All campaign medals disappeared

Completion medals for campaigns and their scenarios have disappeared:

  • Scenario unlocking/progress has been kept;
  • Scenario completion medals have disappeared;
  • For completed campaigns, scenario completion medal has disappeared;
  • Problem occurs in AOE2 and Return of Rome.
  • *If a scenario is replayed, medal appears.

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start AOE2
  2. Open Campaigns (no medals)
    3.Open a fully or partially completed campaign (no medals)

Medals should appear

This is a known issue from the last patch, already tracked. Thanks for the report.

I encountered this problem on the first day of the patch. I can’t say that I have completed absolutely all the missions in the game for gold, but I was on a gradual path to this progress, and now I will have to go through 2-3 DLC-content again. It is especially annoying for missions like Konstantin XI, which will require about 2-3 hours to complete again…
Unfortunately, the problem has not been solved yet and is unlikely to be. Are these medals stored on the local disk? Then how can the developers return them?

Same issue, for me, the golden medals changed to silver. Really sadge

Estou com o mesmo problema. Entrei na comunidade hoje, justamente por causa deste bug.

Possibly fixed as of today.

It’s been “fixed” 2 days ago…and by “fixed” I mean “broken again”, because all the medals received since the bug appeared, had been elevated 1 tier up, meaning people have been awarded gold medals while only receiving silver. I think it’s for the best if the devs do not try to “fix” it again…
