You probably should have added the Monasteries too since they also got changed.

Nice overview though!

So the Spartans and Athenians retain the same castle.

Got all civs who retained their castle, except the eastern european one (the Slavs have it, I thought it would be the Magyars)

And no old castle is gone, so they miscounted, it’s 24 new castles (+5 for the new civs) not 25.

yes, sadly the Athenian castle is still missing. it would be my favorite

Let me be honest: I’d rather they sell these models, than another BS DLC, if they need money.

How on earth you predicted Aztecs and Malians will have the old castles when they are clearly designed around Mayans temple and Berbers fortress?

Let the record show that I was correct about the Goths and Bulgarians. For my own ideas, I chose Mangup and Baba Vida, respectively, and those are what they went with.

Wonder Sparta giant disappointed from me. Every time look at this :expressionless_face: aizzzz

The Aztecs were the primary american civ due to having a campaign, so it made me mean toward then.

For Malians, the castle felt more appropriate to them than it would for the Ethiopians (especially with their castle revealed that felt mountainous), and I felt like the Berbers could get a much more ornate one, knowing the architecture of Morocco and Andalusia, instead of getting the african one. So that’s it. Sure it’s a berber design but given how much North Africa influenced Mali, it wasn’t a long shot.
