India’s buffs are very endgame specific. There are like 5-6 forums dedicated to it. XD
Maybe the only thing applicable to supremacy would be:
Zamburak with +2 range. (Basic 12/total 14)
Howdah with +2 range (Basic 16/total 18)
It would be necessary to reduce its firepower or resistance points if necessary.

The ’ Royal Green Jackets ’ card should affect all rifle infantry and not just Gurkha. (mersenaries, natives, etc).

I’d like to see flaming arrows get a limber & unlimber mode. Artillery is the only way to kill Japan, but they have the best anti artillery in the game… flaming arrows are too microable due to their fast speed.
Or remove their increase cost of flaming arrows and make it so the shipment can be sent only once.
And reduce boosts golden pavilion gives.
This is super true. Japan micro is just so frustrating to go against because their units so fast.
i would argue that haud light cannons are vastly superior.
but
my personal thoughts on flaming arrows is that i would like to see the pavillion and daymio NOT affect flaming arrows and morutaru (exactly the same as how hauds plaza does not affect their cannon) and i think they’d be fine.
Japan is “mostly balanced” as far as their radically bad design allows for in 1v1 sup but their lategame scaling is just obnoxious
Stacked auras is a problem.
Japan probably do need those auras in the early game because their units are not so cost effective, but in the mid-late game the stats stacks to infinity.
I think maybe the aura effects should be calculated from the base stats not the current stats. It would not affect the early game because there aren’t many stat upgrades but will prevent 70 damage ashigaru in the late game.
i believe i suggested that too somewhere recently. its probably a really good way to go about fixing ashi long term imo
Yes, but flaming arrows are available in fortress while LC are available in industrial.
The aura suggestion is very good.
what if i told you that flaming arrows dont actually have a multiplier against artillery until the honoured upgrade is researched 
fa are pretty trash throughout the game compared to all the other arty. you need 3 shots to kill a falc and you only have 2 fa shipment and generally no castle to train them. Also their attack delay and their HP is bad, so often times once you shoot with your fa you take shots in return from falcs (again, 2 shots of a falc kill a fa, while fa need 3 shots). Japanese would literally be a better civ with falcs and culvs
The thing is, FA still wreck artillery and infantry and Japan sends them x2 in a row. Good luck getting anything done with a 2 falcs shipment which is your only way of breaking their OP infantry mass.
If they didn’t do any area damage at all (it’s an arrow for Pete’s sake) they’d be more balanced.
If Japan receives a sizable nerf I’d consider playing them, as I don’t believe in laming atrociously op civs.
but they dont? they also have low dmg… they barely do their job

I see more Japan in ranked 1v1 and 2v2 than I did Inca pre nerf.
the shoguns being able to train batch’s if 10 next to your town is kinda OP for sure and I personally would be in favor of making them more like a mobile consulate, being able to train consulate units using export, or just giving them a small set amount of units they can build like a native camp. Otherwise Japan is fairly balanced
Thats ok, I would renove the ability for artillery, spamming 10morutarus is lame.
All those civs are discusting, they never take the time to balance these civs.
India can just outscale you and you’ll never know how he did it plus they have stronger units with a lot of shadow techs.
China has just a stupid snowball and broken cav.
Japan can steal your hunts, outscale you in his base and all his units ar broken.
Culverins are awesome against FA. If japan is going for a 4FA timing, you should be able to get a culverin or two out.
FA are generally pretty trash against infantry. Only when they reach a critical mass (15+) do they became a problem. But that requires a lot of wood and gold that’s better off going into yumis.
