I don’t know how to title it but what i want is to:
group 3 buildings into 1,2,3 on the numberpad. And numberpad 4 should be all three buildings combined.
I want to use different way points for these buidlings and easily access them but also want the choice to select all at once pressing 4.
This is currently not possible bc as soon as I create group 4 it deletes group 1,2,3. Please fix this!
All groups work like that, any entity (unit building…) can only be grouped to 1 group at once. So that you don’t have to un-assign an unit from the group it’s already in, to transfer it to another group.
Allowing units/buildings to be in several would need some recoding to replace the probably 4-bits number to indicate in which group it is, to 9 or 10 binaries for each group, plus some new keys combinations to tell “also assign to that group but don’t unassign from others”.

this wouldnt be a fix as what u’re looking for would be consider a new feature
this would more fitting as a feature request though would be nice to have
