Am I the only one who feels that the new DLC civis are so strong that they seem like they came from another game?

RTS games in general are not balanced for 4v4.

In team matches, especially 4v4 and maps that are not closed, cavalry dominates greatly by design.

This is not true
You have to pay the Torgguds Swarm with stone as well Batu Khan and Techs

You could say it pays by itself cause stone gathering is OP as Golden Horde and yeah that must be nerfed as well some units stats, costs, training time

On the contrary Ageing-Up as Golden Horde takes quite time, so another thing that devs could do to balance is reducing Age-Up time!

Then infantry and infantry-based civs needs a buff to get on pair with cavalry

In team games, I would say that a variety of maps are needed where cavalry has less ability to dominate.

Then you completely unbalance 1v1.

I’m interested to see the aoe4world stat sheet for this season. Personal experiences have shown me that Ayyubid is still a monster. That being said… last season only civ above 52% WR in my bracket was House of Lancaster (55%), and after the manor changes they are so much easier to handle.

That is to say, if there is a major imbalance a tweak will come down the pipes in a season or two to fix it, and we’ve never really seen a civ break 60% winrate. So, the balance is usually pretty good.

There’s something to be said about a learning curve, where you are adapting to a civ you’ve never had to counter before. That can contribute to feelings of it being OP.

Simply not cause would be a more fair experience
