Neandertal OP please nerf.
For South America Iâd also add Maned Wolf and Humboldt Penguin. For the north Iâd add Great Auks.
Quite a few timid huntables, herdables and predators were added this year, which is very nice. But the game is really lacking in aggresive huntables. Still only three models (Boar, Elephant, Rhino).
Give a unique skin to the Javelina and implement the existing African Elephant models (savannah and forest/North African), then the number is already doubled. There are three Wolves and Bears each now, so why not three Elephants.
Also, gimme Hippos.
The Water Buffaloâs appearance should then be altered to be more like the domesticated animal, especially when it comes to the horns. The animal in the African Mill would also have to be changed accordingly - donât know whether water buffaloes were widely used by Malians and Ethiopians then, though, but still makes more sense than the mill being driven by an untamed animal.
Half of all the fauna in AoE 3âŠ
Dawn of Man already exists (interestingly, it was also the subtitle for AoE 1 in its alpha version). The theme would be the campaigns⊠what would they be about?
-
Origin in Africa
-
Establishment in Europe
-
Establishment in Asia
-
Crossing Beringia Bridge and establishing the Clovis Empire in America lolâŠ
And thatâs itâŠnothing more
We need Yaks, Tapirs, Hippos, Takins, and the African elephants. Also capybaras.
They are so calm, they shouldnât react at all even when attacked.
Functionally Berrybush
Water buffaloes are from Southeast Asia. Oxen or even donkeys would be more appropriate for Africa, although their use in agriculture does not appear to have been common there.
Yes, my dad had a pet capybara about 20 years ago and he told me to pet it on the back because otherwise it could get nervous because it didnât know you and it could bite you⊠You could easily keep it as a pet like a giant hamster, but it has to be in an area with a lot of water or at the very least you could put it in the pool so it doesnât get depressed and dehydratedâŠ
There also are some capybara bars in Japan where you can pet them.
To be fair, they have just about everything in Japan.
True but I donât think they would make an âAmerican Bully XL barâ with the same conceptâŠ
Oh look⊠yes, maybe they take two capybara pups, one male and one female, and they could easily have a zoo of themâŠ
Yes, itâs JapanâŠyou can find anything thereâŠ
Red-crowned crane, stork, special is crane it lovely. Beautiful. I love it. Snow owl too
Now how do we not have giraffes already? You canât have zebras without giraffes!
Maybe Iâm just saying that because of two books (with accompanying stuffed animals) I had growing up.
We have no Hippos as well.
Im sure more animal will get added with future patches.
it took a while but we now have chickens which was the only missing animal from old mcdonaldâs farm.im not counting the dog as a farm animal.
I think ducks are also commonly included in the song.
Would really like to see Dogs instead of always using (Hunting) Wolves as a stand-in, with variants that represent breeds from around the world. They could have an attack bonus against huntables and predators and be able to herd herdables near the drop-off site, like Shepherds do.
Thanks. The African Mill actually had a donkey before it was changed to water buffalo with DE. Seems to be a rather odd choice.
Forgot to mention the buffalo-drawn Trade Cart used by multiple Asian civs, could also be altered to come closer to an actual water buffalo.
