Annoyed with the events

I think it’s ridiculous to make people wait a full day until you are able to do another quest. (Or wake up bright and early then stay up late to get two in one day)

Not everybody can play every day and on my Age 2 gaming days I can only get one? 14 and a half hours until I can complete the next, really?

Now I have 12 hours until I can complete the last challenge - with only 3 hours left in the event.

I would have been able to complete it on time - if it wasn’t for the fact that after completing one, not being able to play the next day then loading up the game the day after that I was greeted to the event claiming I never completed that challenge.
(Funny because I was subscribed to the event mod and couldn’t even unsubscribe from it because the unsubscribe button was grayed out.)

Very frustrating and I hope the way these events work change in the future.

Not only that, but while I’m here - It’s stupid that the game recognizes I did challenges in an earlier event and mocks me for forgetting to log into xbox live (On my PC game opened through Steam with non-XBox live servers).

Why should those who want to complete all the challenges at a greater speed than others be penalized with egregious waiting times to advance further?. I would like to know who thought this would be a good idea? Make it so players can complete the challenges when they become “unlocked”, whether unlocked daily or weekly. Having an arbitrary timer to access the next quest is not an effective way to administer the quests. It punishes less active players and players who want to grind quests all at once. I call on the developers to consider this advice because the way the event quests currently work is unacceptable.

Timers do seem entirely arbitrary, once it was 10 hours and 20 minutes, and once it was 14 hours and 30 minutes. Since I did that quest at 2PM the game genuinely wanted me to wake up at 4 am to do the next one? Really wanna know who thought that one up.

The idea is that the devs want you to play the game as much days as possible, hence the timer
But I agree they should remove or decrease the cooldown when few days are left

The events are trash in general. They wont add much to the game at all. They same a waste of development resources in general. Just stop with these events and focus on the real issues of this game.

One of the side effects of allowing people to develop the game who rarely play it

This. Just missed out on completing the lord of the west event in it’s entirety because I work a full-time job. Let me bang these out on a saturday FFS.

They want you to play as much as possible and they accomplish this by limiting you to only playing one game a day to progress towards rewards.

that’s some critical thinking there.
