Another patch another Aztec Nerf

It makes sense. They are able to spam so many otontins that beat other archers. Otontins are too cost effective so nerfing the cost is a good way to nerf the rush.

And arrow knights were buffed a while ago by giving them heavy infantry tag

In fact, the way to weaken Aztecs in the standard confrontation is obvious. Just remove one of their food boxes or wooden boxes and reduce their starting resources. Their strength in the conventional confrontation is largely due to their more resources at the beginning, and more military cards concentrated in an era, rather than the quality of the units. As long as their starting resources are reduced, the attack time of Aztecs will be significantly delayed, and most players can also organize defense more easily. The same reason is also true for the Chinese. They excessively weaken the Chinese flag army units in the fortress era, but do not remove the Chinese army cards in the fortress era, making their changes not reduce the Chinese army units in the fortress era and industrial era in the conventional confrontation. Strong, but leads to the weakness of the Chinese treaty model

What the hell are you talking about manā€¦written by AI? Standard confrontation? Era? Aztecs are strong because they get a lot of units early so they can take good fight, earn several times the xp using explorer aura and then have more shipments.

What I mean is, Aztecsā€™ strong performance in 1v1 matches is due to having more resource boxes in their opening stages, and they had a large number of soldier cards during the colonial era, which made it easy to form large-scale troops in the early stages, resulting in a relatively high win rate. Therefore, the correct correction should be to reduce their initial resources and remove some soldier cards

In this regard, I believe that simply taking a food or wood box from the Aztecsā€™ opening can significantly slow down their attack time and give opponents more time to organize their defense

Not everyone is from an english speaking country man, this is most like due to his languages translation for supremacy and besides, he has a good point that more expensive otontions wonā€™t change much when you spam the shipments of them anyway due to the amount of XP aztecs get.
Just like Chinese as he said or Ottomans with their Abus nerfs - who cares if they cost a bit more when you still get the same amount from shipments, 4 age-up Abus and 5 Sipahi from the shipment? most of these strong civs rely on just shipping a shit ton of units and donā€™t care about them getting a slight cost increase.

Iā€™m afraid I cannot do that. I fear weā€™ve lost him.

No no im not trolling. Im for real

I play aLOT of super. Range from 1400-1650 depending on the civ. Aztec rush needed toned down. The increased cost for the Merc shipments will help alot (100c that early hurts). They will still be very strong imo. As for age 3 and above Iā€™ve never really felt they were too strong etc. a good player will roll with them but vs another player of equal skill in age 3 it can go either way. We will see a lot of people elo drop due to this minor need to the rush.

If you play 3v3 4v4 you will see them. In lobbies, especially large maps, japan pretty much always goes samurai mortars. If you donā€™t see them probably you just havenā€™t played a lot of lobby games

or, i just donā€™t play in THOSE lobbies with HORRIFYING settings like large map

thatā€™s not ā€œsupā€ btwā€¦ when you say sup it is inferred youā€™re playing with STANDARD rules

Says the one who created the most imba lobby map ever xD

Is that supposed to invalidate anything I said?

i like the unknown maps tho. but a lot of noobs host large maps, like large unknowns. when there are no other lobbies to go for i have to play them

Sounds painful. I wouldnā€™t subject myself to that.
