When are we going to have at least a first look about it? (planned release date and civs, not just screenshots)
Also, I’m very curious about the battleship unit. Is there any plan to include it into standard skirmish? (that unit is even fixed in the last update and I see no point of leaving it in the scenario editor just for fun).
Probably in june 22, when the US event ends.
As for the battleship, I think it’s coming to skirmish in the next patch or so, and I think they are preparing something else along with it, but we’ll see
Since 26.05. they have the Public Update Preview (beta testing) on steam… i think in one of the next beta updates they’ll have the new battleship, so stay tuned ;D
I expect it to come before aoe4, and aoe4 is set for fall, so we should see africa in about two months
I expect to get more info about it in maybe a month and a half
Still wondering about those leaked big button pics, they’re obviously for a native civ though.
I am more excited for this DLC than AOE4, and the battleship being added is awesome. Devs really are into this game.

The thing I was most worried about with AoEIIIDE was it wasn’t gonna get the love that AoEIIDE gets and with the disastrous launch those fears became a reality but the devs have done a fabulous job since then. It’s just too bad it started out like it did, it lost a lot of people that might not come back.
AoEIIDE could get away with a bad launch while AoEIIDE couldn’t. Hopefully this DLC will bring them back and pick up some new players as well as continued support and more content in the futue. I’m also more excited for more content for this game than I am for AoEIV.
