Any way to escape Khan killing sheep?

Recently, mongol players started to use the Khan to kill off all your sheep when they spot your scout. I was wondering, if there is any way to escape this?
On bigger maps, even if I have two scouts / or team games / no chance that anyone is near, or I am close to my TC.

Or it is just annoying and say… he is not collecting sheep neither at least? Shouldn’t other civs have somehow similar capability to deny sheep as well? (Similar to deer bounty)

take away the sheep from your scout and move it to the khan. He can’t follow you
