Does it have anything to do with the game? It’s a sequence, but I have no idea of what part of aoe4 is related.
Game-related, and I really do hope that I soon don’t have to calculate it every time and just autopilot it.
Can you tell me what it’s about? It’s the first time I’ve seen the sequence.
OK, I’ll tell: It’s how many farms Sengoku Daimyo needs to build in order to cap a Yatai at 60 food. They all start at 20, and if I don’t use up all the natural food resources within my base, then they don’t need the full 10 farms that would get them from 20 to 60.
The way I’m playing them right now, I’m not using up all the “free” food sources because the Yatai boost food a lot. So try to end up having spread within my walls six sectors that give each Yatai the full boost, without wasting the bonus from the natural ones.
Simplified Yatai math:
The Yatai has 20 baseline food income; it needs 40 more to cap out at 60. Berries and sheep in the radius count for 2 points, and deer and farms (after the upgrade) count for 4 points.
Just divide everything by four; I now need to get to 10 points. Berries and sheep give half a point, while deer and farms give a full point. I see 6 deer; I make 4 farms close by. I see 5 berries; I walk 1 sheep over and build 7 farms (or 5 sheep and 5 farms). This way I know how to prepare safe Yatai locations in my base.
Edit: All assuming the food sources have not been tampered with. After they have been partially gathered, the math no longer works, and I must send a Yatai over and use the bigger numbers displayed in the interface to see how many farms I need.
