Anyone remember the old Danube?

I remember that, when AoE4 first came out, the Danube random map was simply a river meandering through the landscape. That to me felt a lot more natural than the current setup, which is painfully artificial for the comparison (I prefer more naturalistic-looking maps for RTS games, as they are more immersive for me). Why don’t they bring the old version of Danube back sometime?
