Some other games have much weaker AI, though. In CSGO and Rocket League, even the lowest rank players can beat the hardest AI. The AoE2DE AI is maybe similar to playing 1v4 in Rocket League, where you need to be around the average ranked multiplayer level to consistently win.
I’m 1900 in 1v1 I realize that for decent players the AI is easy
But just as @breeminator says, compared to other games the AI is strong, so it’s a challenge for casual and new players
