2-3 weeks ago, every AOE 4 match has started crashing when I try to enter the game world itself – launches fine, menus are fine, load screen is fine, but the crash happens when the game actually tries to start. Tried a single player skirmish, it only crashes when I hit ‘play’ while I’m still on the load screen.
Haven’t changed graphics settings or hardware or anything, just did a full system reset and reinstalled everything. I’ve had past problems with new patches refusing to start until I reinstall the whole game, I feel like these crashes are something about the game that’s been changed/updated.
Played during beta, crashed mid-game once since the game came out, now every match crashes right before it starts.
