This is correct. Microsoft is actually kicking things off for Xbox on the 20th and AoE on the 21st.

This is correct. Microsoft is actually kicking things off for Xbox on the 20th and AoE on the 21st.
Lol I can’t read it even says that they are beginning early! Anything AOE related and my brain stops working, must be love 
40 tickets up for grabs is pretty good going really when you consider that most people won’t be able to get there.

The only thing that scares me here, when i read the poster/ad here at the top, it says, “First Look at AOE:DE”, i get the gut feeling that telling us close Beta will start after GamesCon. But then again we are under NDA so that might not apply to us, by the fact that we see it before the Con, and we can talk/show it, but the first look is public only, does not include us in close beta, just gonna have to wait i guess.
I would have thought first look just means showing more gameplay than just trailer scenes. Even if they take until October 17 to release, it seems a reasonable time frame. Hopefully not waiting for years after an initial trailer
Also, it’s AoE. You wouldn’t need a long time of mass testing for bugs.
