AOE4 game Icon too similar to SimCity

I believe there’s a huge problem in the community where the SimCity and the AOE4 icons are just way too similar. They are both great games and they’re both plenty of fun, but it seems that in such a high degree of similarity, too many people confuse one game for the other.

I’ll enter 3v3 or 4v4 matches, and pretty much my entire team seems to have mixed AOE4 with competitive Cities Skylines. They build beautiful roads and perfectly-placed farms, with different districts for economy and military. They take special care in making sure to have one of each building, and not to overpopulate their cities with villagers. Indeed, since it is only one city they’re building, they limit themselves to a single town center, as you can’t have a city with “more than one center”. Perfectly logic indeed.

Soldiers are also stationed along the roads, making sure the citizens are safe from criminals (but not from the enemy). They stand in groups of three or four scattered all over, with variety of weapons and not a single upgrade, so as to not intimidate their nice and fragile fellow citizens, irreplaceable as they are.

It is beautiful to witness as an expectator, a third party seeing from afar, the setup of their works of art. You could probably feel the soothing tranquility of a time when you could pay your taxes with wheat. This paradisiac landscape is only interrupted by the flame of the enemy torches, and by the torch that’s my head seeing how they’re dying to a single knight while I hold the other flank 2v1.

TLDR: Please, PLEASE do something about matchmaking in team games. Limit the MMR difference to… 100 points among players from each team or something. Give me half-hour queues if necessary. But stop thinking that two 1000s vs one 1500 and one 500 is balanced. I can’t take it anymore.
