Yes,I’m seeing it…and he’s partly right…when a peak is reached, it is already very difficult to overcome that…In addition, if the game already has an already established metagame, it is very difficult for new players to enter in these game…
For now we see that the numbers are increasing slightly, we will see as the days go by and the launch of the ranked games.
It’s a good thing that they’ve finally allowed others to add content to the game. That is the salvation for games that are dying, mostly, for a lack of content. Even if I will never use any of it if it can’t carry over into Quick Match, at least it may bring some players back around so my search time goes down.
lol u clown. Have you seen the title?
Why antagonize such a large audience (when you didn’t even how well the game will perform)? If you didn’t know how large and passionate it was, then now you know.
I’m an aoe2 maxi but I still watch aoe4 to be uptodate on the meta and the progress.
That’s a cool idea actually!
ik but at least those ones were forgetable enough to pass on.
OH NOOO AOE IV BROS. WE GOT TOO COCKY
Alteratively, it could’ve made zero difference, and Relic would’ve had much less public feedback to action ongoing and future changes.
I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying hindsight is 20/20 (especially considering Age IV made a strong impression in terms of user reviews and general ratings on release).
I hoped that the increase was better but this is small…
Yes,I played both betas and already from the closed beta I saw it very green and unfinished…if it hadn’t been for me getting hooked on the Mongols, I would have uninstalled the game and never given it another chance…
Of course, that always helps, but it does not solve everything… they have to put the batteries with the game…
Yes, that is, it is a matter of thinking about it for a while just…I have these camps in the campaigns, as I could put them in the multiplayer and attract new players…
Nothing can fix a 70,000 player drop, but it can maintain the current playerbase and maybe a few more along the way. And that’s fine with me.
A sale combined with news of good updates would go a long way.
30$ off could make it palatable on Steam. A sale doesn’t really affect GP users though.
Perhaps they could announce some cosmetic mods that work in Quick Match to create interest.
Yes, maybe aoe online, inside of everything, it is good (more now that they put the Romans and that they are going to put the Mauryas)…the rest did pass without sorrow or glory…
Well something is something…I hope this picks up with the patches…
Yes, at least as long as the game stays between 8000 (double the players of aoe 3) and 20000 players (the same amount as aoe 2) will do relatively well… I as I said I give it until October (minimum an expansion to have the game, there is talk of cholas and Japanese)…
If we don’t get Japs or Spanish, I can imagine a lot of disappointment, but I imagine it’d draw a few thousand to try whichever got implemented.
