No. SGF and E3 have nothing in common. Yes he was part of E3 for a long time, but I assume he was just an X employee there. E3 is formed by an association of the big brands in the industry.
I guess you meant spiritual successor, but E3’s fate isn’t sealed quite yet.
E3 probably has too many cooks ruining the dish and the organizing head staff is probably a subcontractor and dont really know the industry etc.
Maybe someone will dish some dirt once E3 failed or will be close to failing.

I haven’t followed E3 or anything gaming related like that since the shutdowns anyway. I can’t imagine I’m alone in that, since the hype for that sort of thing died when people realized they could just…do something else to promote their stuff.
Anyway, this game ought to be promoted by content creators that are given the power to create more content from the Devs &co. That’s something I’d focus on.

actually that game has so many prototype of what aoe 4 should be to keep afloat on long term and short term.
In fact originally aoe online was going to be aoe 4, but the devs of Robot Entertainment realized that the community was going to hang them if they called it that, then they only left it as an online aoe and ready …

AOE-4 could be said to have a lot of players. 30-35% of players are on XBOX game Pass.

AOE-3 DE has relatively many players on steam and few on xbox. But AOE-3 in general is played much more than just counting the definitive edition. On steam I see some original AOE-3 users and there are also many playing on gameranger.
I dont know about you lot, but I do not have the time to play at 6 am 
in the morning and I hardly have the mind to play after I get home in the evening.
So, perhaps it helps to take a larger time frame to show how many people are playing?
