It makes me so happy to see such clean graphics. Pre-retold units have paper-thick weapons, so I hope that changes.
The UI really proves that the game was built on the same engine as Age 3 DE. Not only do the icons remember the Age 3 DE, but even the border of the icons remember it.
btw in case some missed that minor detail:
mountain giants are now bigger, even taller than fire giants and can kick elephants (maybe dwarves too?)
Everything I see looks so far great, however not really loving the UI and placement of that UI up in the middle, it looks way too big, and I hope we can move it as we please to be just like in the original game down on the left corner of the screen.
that’s why having human units at 1 pop would be good, because even at 210 pop it’s not equivalent to aoe2 or 3 or 4
for an army of 100 human soldiers you need 200 pop
after that the rest is incredible
Oohhh god no… 20 characters
I wonder if other economic units like Fishing Ships and Traders count towards the same limit, the same way it works in AoE3DE.
I hope not, i hate these limits
AoM originally had a 80 villager limit so 100 is higher.
AoM has limits for a bunch of buildings too.
Oohh really? Didn’t know that for the villagers😂
I did now about the Building and that was a thing a also really disliked😬
The other interesting thing in these screenshots is that the 100 (200 for Zeus) Favor cap has been removed, presumably to accommodate buying God Powers. That’s going to allow massing more myth units. I wonder if they’ll replace Zeus’s bonus with a new one?
