Hey everyone,
I wanted to bring up something that I know a lot of us in the console community have been hoping for – the addition of an Xbox ranked ladder for Age of Mythology. Having a dedicated ranked ladder is crucial for growing and sustaining the Xbox player base, similar to what we’ve seen in Age of Empires II and IV.
A ranked ladder not only allows us to compete and track progress but also fosters interaction within the Xbox community. It would help build a more inclusive and connected player base, making it easier to see who’s playing, follow top players, and keep the community thriving.
We’ve already seen the positive impact of Xbox tournaments in Age of Empires II and IV, where players from all regions and elo levels could participate, watch, and enjoy the games being casted. A ranked ladder in AOM would continue this trend, giving us a way to engage with the game competitively and further grow the Xbox community.
I really believe this could be a great step forward for AOM on Xbox, and I’d love to hear what others think or if there’s any way we can support making this happen.
Thanks!

I couldn’t agree more. Since AoE has released, I have made a ton of friends and thoroughly have enjoyed playing with these friends from around the world as we climbed the Xbox ladder together.
While there are a few of us that can compete very well on the cross-platform; the majority of us cannot compete due to limitations of hotkeys, gross motor skills, and actions per minute compared to those who play on the P.C.
Having an Xbox ladder gives the community a strong desire for competition as they rise through the rankings to see themselves on the top leaderboard which at this time seems quite impossible to ever see our names happening on the cross-platform ladder.
With AoM currently, having the most active players amongst the entire Age of Empires franchises, it seems the investment into creating one would greatly contribute to the Xbox player base to continue to keep playing as we would have something to work towards.

Im fairly new to the xbox community just started really playing around 6 months ago and in this time i,ve seen how even with the disadvantages of playing AoE on xbox it has a really passionate and connected playerbase with lots of events and tournaments made.
With the newest AoM Retold game coming out a lot of people have been playing it on controller thats way as said by the creator of this discussion this would greatly benefit the community on controller specially with keeping track of the top players on controller and adding more people to this community.
