I’m making a campaign where the player will have an Elite Monaspa (hero) unit, which in some scenarios will be available, through the create object effect.
Does that mean that the Mountain Royals DLC is needed in order to work?
Also, are DLC’s needed for the scenario voice lines?
Given that you can play Gurjaras in the Prithviraj campaign without owning Dynasties of India, I can’t imagine why it should be different for custom campaigns. I guess the creator needs all DLCs tho.
What about the voice lines?
Never worked with voice lines but I guess those have to be in .wem format, right?
Yes. All sounds are in .wem as far as I know.
to play it on your computer you most likely have to have the DLC to get the voice line unless it somehow comes with the campaign access. think of ROR they dont force people to download extra content if they didnt pay for it so some wem files would require you to get DLC
however if you do have the names of those files and someone already has the DLC installed then they’d be able to hear it, otherwise you would need to include it as part of your mod for anyone to hear them should they not purchase the DLC
Yeah, I figured that IO need the DLC’s, but if someone wants to download my custom campaigns, does he need them?
