I’m so confused about this! Should we enable VSync for a better gaming experience? Will it have a big impact in competitive gaming? What do professionals prefer?
Is it sensible to use both FPS limit and VSync together?
Help please

VSync limits your max FPS to what your display can handle. And as frames are nicely synchronised it removes screen tearing.
Still as the visuals aren’t are fast paced as some close-range shooters, the impact on competitive gaming should be fairly minor.
My PFS limit is already 144. Also, VSync is enabled in Nvidia settings. Are both good together?
They may be redundanct. Try and see if you feel a difference.
I think I’ll turn off VSync. No need to add input lag. The FPS limit is already close to 144, so I don’t think there will be much tearing.
