Ascertaining when the Trailer drops

It’s been a few days since the Sneak Peak and while the vast majority of us are excited at the prospect of new Civs. I found myself wonder when exactly can we expect new info.

Looking back at previous DLC, the trailer for a DLC usually drops around a month to 3 weeks on average before the full release. Moreover they usually do it after some big Tournament and right now The Garrison is going on and will end on the 16th.

So my prediction is that the Trailer for the coming East Asian DLC will release about the 18th to 20th. At which point we’ll have the full view of what there 5 Civs are.

At I least I hope they keep their promises this time and actually have it be 5 civs. I remember African Kingdom was supposed to have 5 Civs, they even said it during an E3 2015 interview, but instead it only came out with 4. Hopefully the Devs won’t lie to us this time.

Nevertheless I believe new information is sooner than expected, so we may not have to speculate for long.

Look at the calender, that was 10 years ago.
I don’t think they will do that again.
Also the DLC will drop next month already. It would be really strange to cut a civilisation so shortly before release.

It’s really hard to tell. For Chronicles we know almost everything a month before release and for Immortal Pillars we knew relatively little until a week before release.

I didn’t even know there was such a thing before! If they had publicly made this promise but ultimately betrayed it, that would be really outrageous! They should return this missing civilization to us as soon as possible!
