The ability to create heroes without spending the population limit makes the Atlantean economy the strongest in long games (3vs3 4vs4). At the same time, their army is 100% invulnerable to mythical creatures with no penalties.
Yea… No, atty is the worst civ on late game, an its not close.
A 10% eco boost for hero citizen doesnt give them the Best eco, its still far behind others. Even with theft of fire its still no the Best eco.
That wirhout even taking into account the cost of heroizing citizen and how Long it takes to even pay itself off.
A quick look at aom stats shows the guy is at least 400 elo above any of the other players. He is almost 700 elo higher than red. He simply played better most likely
Now imagine that it wasn’t Oranos with a 37% win rate, but some Gaia who takes Mythic Age before anyone else in the game, throws a black hole and gets an autowin.
How fair is it that Atlantis can be immune to mythical units?

Implode is not the busted god power it once was. Being Gaia would make it no different. If he was the same level with most other gods he would have won faster. My point is that match is far more a player skill difference than “this god OP”.
Imagine being closer to being twice your opponents raiting than the second highest player is to you in a match, ofc the guy is gonna roll.
Atty heroes are not free. They dont Just pop into existance, they requiere investment which again atty doesnt have the Best eco to sustain.

Sure, the Atlanteans have a slower economy, but if you let them boom, they’ll overwhelm you with so many heroes (both citizens and military)…
