So there is currently a cheat called Out with the new that replaces the attack notification from AoE4 with AoE2’s attack notification. Personally, AoE4’s sound effect doesn’t quite always catch my attention and having tried the cheat, I was pleasantly surprised.
Unfortunately because it is a cheat, where it can be used is limited. Since it is already in the game as a function, why not make it an option?
