I never said they’re OP but they certainly are much more feasible to switch into them now as compared to pre-buff times. My point is that the 600 cost reduction for their upgrade is not a mediocre insignificant buff.
Not sure what the relevance of Boyars or dominance is here. I think Boyars can be a great unit if Slavs get back their 15% farming rate. Right now their eco isn’t strong enough to get ahead and make a proper use of their castle UT and Boyar play.
Anyways to summarize my point - Catas are neither OP nor useless. They’re a good unit, useful in quite a good number of situations for Byzantines and the buff they got certainly made them more feasible. And that’s not an insignificant buff.
Will this month’s event still be this month? August ends in 5 days…

They last two weeks, so, if it starts at the end of a month it will take “two” months

Yes, strange because in AoE 3 they put the event of the peacemaker, although it seems that they are going to put an event in August soon…

Right now it seems that the event is triggered but not activated, also got that new background.

How can the translation not be in the game’s text files, when the event’s reward descriptions are?
No idea, honestly. I just took a picture of what was on my screen. Like FurtherLime said, the new background is on the main page, and when I look at the event icons they are all empty, with no descriptions.
Hopefully, one of the forum goers that are more tech savvy than me would know what’s up…

A fish? Really? They could pick any awesome looking design, and they picked three fish? I don’t get why the devs don’t try and make these look as cool as possible. It’s like the profile icons, they should look awesome, not funny. Some of the newer ones have been improving, but there’s still a way to go.
