I’m sure they can figure it out, since these bugs weren’t there to begin with until they broke with with multiple patches over the last 1.5 years span. patience is running out soon.

Nerf to Sicilians and Koreans?! They aren’t even top civs. They don’t need nerfed.
Did you even see the hera’s vid, War Wagons are just too hard to counter in castle age, and the change simply makes them weaker vs skirms, camel archers, and genitours, which is simply fine. Koreans anyway have poor design to start with and the civ need a major change to make other parts of the tech tree and bonuses better, not just a civ that suck without rushing out an OP unit.
Sicilian change was to fix how broken are the sicilian cavaliers in imperial vs certain civs, even though I would prefer something different.
+Gurjaras, Franks, Burgundians.
That’s kind of obvious. But it wasn’t really necessary. Its very difficult to get to that point in a regular game against most other civs. Anyways its ok to do that by buffing something else – like Donjon cost or Serjeant cost or some other eco aspect.
Gurjara eco has been fully nerfed. You can’t put sheep into 2 or more mills and generate more food. The total amount of garrisoned food is now global. So even if you put 1 sheep each into 8 mills, you’ll still get only 24 food/min. It decays as 6.1, 10.4, 13.9, 16.6, 18.9, 20.9, 22.6, 24.1 from 1 to 8 sheep. This is fixed irrespective of number of mills. So overall its a decent nerf to both eco and military. Unlike the evergreen FRANKS.
Its slightly more easier but definitely still difficult. They still don’t get any eco bonus. And if you sell the stone, how exactly will you make instant castles? There are civs like Bulgarians with Kreposts or Franks with cheaper castles/Kreposts and they’re better for knight aggression.
Sicilians was still a strong civ for some passive open maps in the RBW pool but definitely not broken nor too powerful to get such a strong nerf.
Its not a buff but its hilarious that they left these civs like Franks, Mayans, Britons untouched.
I think Burmese being decent and the monk buff being useful are both probably a closed map or nomad maps thing. On open maps its still a very tiny and insignifcant buff.
Sicilian nerf is necessary for empire wars where it is much easier to reach Hauberk Cavalier. They have top 3 archery range in feudal age and can sell stone to reach castle age. Sicilian archer + skirm is better almost everyone else. Their scout rush also won’t die to spears. Once in castle age, they can make knights and defend with instant castles and TCs.
Their problem in normal settings is that they take longer to reach feudal age without a dark age bonus and also don’t have an immediate feudal age bonus. This sets them up to be weak for most of the game.
I agree they should get some compensation, but the nerf to 33% was needed.

so far im really liking the beng buffs. my monk micro isnt amazing, but already feels a lot more forgiving
and those EA feel a lot more solid, 30 hits from E skirms in castle age , 40 hits in imperial(in comparison e skirms take 35 hits to kill a champ). i dont play closed or TG much, but i think they should perform a fair amount better there. you need a greater than 2:1 ratio to beat EA with skirms, making late game fights very different
i could be wrong but i think the monk buff will be underrated by most players due to the lack of using monks(the same way they feel burmese suck, when they’re actually very good in a lot of matches) but the EA one seems like players should be able to capitalize on
Can we get a proper answer from devs on why they hate sicilians so much? I mean, nerf on their main selling point, and even lose treadmill Crane when everyone else got it (frikking britons needed a buff??)
And no compensation at all even though all the forum knows how to do at least something good for them since a year that would require literally 5 minutes of work in game files
Selling stone is an option, if you need it. Archer + skirm is enough to slow down the enemy in most EW matches.
Yes, they are better for castle age aggression, but I said Sicilians can defend in castle age better, which lets them get to Hauberk Cavalier.
Now that the bonus damage resistance has been nerfed, hopefully the devs will focus on buffing Serjeants and Donjons, which (to me atleast) is the more interesting identity of this civ.
Treadmill crane is a dm tech. Its not really used outside of it

I am sorry to say we feel LotW was a mistake of a DLC by us. Those two are totally undeserving craps we made accidentally. We regret making it. So now we are trying to nerf the civs into oblivion.
Are there any new unit skins /sprites added to the Scenario Editor with this update, aside from the event mods themselves?
Yes added a new idle animation to Skirmisher to make it more distinct from Spear line.
i personally think 3/3 armor is too much especially that it doesnt cost a dime. 2/2 civ bonus would still be good
