Could you please code something to kick automatically afk host please ? I will not speak about all bad things about lobby… But at least this please !

Why not just leave and host your own lobby instead? Tell the players to join it or something before you do.

For your information, the lobby can show only a hundred games. When someone is afk, it is potentially hidding other games.
In the end you can wait 30 min to fill your lobby. These afk hosts are polluting the lobby.

it is a known problem if there are too many lobbies, new ones won’t show until old ones are started or cancelled.
sometimes during busy hours you’ll see lobbies like host player with 7 AI sitting there afk for half a day literally or you see host player just locks the lobby for half a day etc. the numbers easily exceeds 15+ and those can go towards new hosted games for better experience.
surely they can change a number which shows number of games in the browsing section as well as just automatically cancels a game if host is afk for 15 mins

Exactly ! It seems not every one understand how bad these afk hosts are. Maybe I am a bit Naive but I still believe that they will patch the lobby with dlc RoR…

This is one of the drawbacks of a lobby. The same was true for Voobly in the past only difference is that ist shows you that the host is AFK. So you knew it. But it was still an annoyance.
Luckily we now have access to a much better system then a lobby: the ranked queue is the solution for these terrible AFK hosts.

Also idk - I feel like as long as there are lobby browser problems, you can’t do that. A host would have to just stare at the lobby screen for 30 minutes or risk getting kicked, because if the lobby isn’t filling up you’re going to alttab (unless you have two monitors etc) or do something else. Have a bit of patience, very often when I host and I’m just thinking about splits, someone will go ‘afk???’ or spam 14 - not always is the host AFK.

Lobbies and rank are two different things and one is not replacing the other at all.
In rank you play competitve games to increase your rating, you do not choose the map and you must use competitive parameters.
I do not understand the comparison of rank games with lobbies where you can choose much more parameters.
